| I'd like to Thank everyone for the trophy that Amac passed down to me for this years achievements. I know I may be one of the faster cars in the club an all an my car is a huge expense an a massive amount of work to keep it at that level even though I prolly don't race as often as others in the club. Well I asked Amac to announce at the last meeting that next year I was going to pass the "King of the Hill" to a fellow racer that made the most passes down the tarmac an I figured I better post it here for all to see. It won't matter if its TnT, Bracket racing, Headsup, or whatever, just save every time slip ya get in 2012 an we'll see who is the most dedicated Drag Racer in the club, thats the only rule I have is ya must be a member ! Ya done't have to spend big bucks or have the fastest ET, just race your azz off is all, an You, the one reading this can be the next KING. This way the whole club has the same chance, any car, truck, altered, camper, bike or whatever. If ya break the regular race car, just use the tow vehicle an collect those slips, lol. I'll be passing down the monumental trophy sometime late summer when the tracks are about finished. I'll be asking to see the slips through October 2012 on the site here ,at the track, an at the meeting because some racers don't go to meetings an some don't read the site so I'll ask for slips at various places, if its a close call we'll hold off naming the winner till its finally settled the end of season. Meanwhile I'll represent the best I can till the next crowning Good Luck too all an be safe !!!! |

| 9.05 N/A big block here, 3250 lbs. I like Dad's idea though. Gives everyone a chance to get the trophy by simply going rounds. That way the most dedicated and consistent club racers gets bragging rights too. |

| Each time the king trophy is passed to a club member it is signed by who had it the year before and Dons idea is great it opens the door to all club members no matter what size motor car or whatever ? Just think one day with all those signatures it might even be famous [or notorius ] | |

| Yep, that's the way I'd like to see it too since it gives everyone the same chance of getting the trophy. And I'd like to think there is enough honor among the club members there won't be bogus time slips showing up. Little Z's words say it all.

| Everyone joined the club because they love drag racing an it just seemed right to offer everyone an equal shot at the King of the Hill. I thought about the bogus timeslips that could show up an anyone that would do that will have to live with stealing the trophy from an honest racer an thats something that would have to be sorted out with them when they meet thier GOD, it would be my job as current King to arrange that meeting ! |

| The trophy could actually be bought without ever winning a round with enough By-backs,lol. Just head to Lucky's where ya can byback 3-4 times. |

Yes, ran a few 9.05's and lots of 9.1's this summer in the 8.90 index. Couldn't get the car to dip back into the 8's like last year, but I also didn't make any tuneup changes. A few pounds lighter or a degree or two more timing should put me back into the 8's for sure next year. Also may switch over and run OLS next year two if it's still around. I'm all setup for the bottle, haven't put one in the car with my latest motor. We'll see, got all winter to think about it. |

| Don, if you use nitrous and enter the OLS, are you looking to run in the 4.9-5.0 range ? What do you have, a plate and a fogger or just foggers ? |

| If I spray it I won't lean on it hard. I'm hoping for 5.30's or so. I don't know how reasonable that is considering I run 5.70-5.78 on motor. I want the thing to last for a while longer, so I won't be set on kill.
I have a Wilson Manifolds two stage plate with an N.O.S. mini progressive controller. Plate is good for way more power than I'll ever throw at it, but it's there if I need it. |

You really need to get out more.lol Guess folks think this Renegade 8.90 deal is to the 1/8 mile..... Hate to break it to them, but some of us like to go faster than you can do on the highway going to work and back. If I wanted to run 8.90's in the 1/8 I'd just go beat on my truck up and down Rt 56. |
