| Normally they'll run the quarter mile unless it gets windy and then they'll move back to the 1/8th. |

| Skip, I am sure we all wouldn't mind you being selfish and keep all that snow your way. We have no snow here. Actually felt a few cold rain drops this morning. | |

| Man, you guys are hard core racers and I'm glad to see that. Keith, you should think about entering some of the Pro Am meets and run the H/R class with those times. |

| It's a index class for 10.90 cars, or trucks, in your case. They use the Sportsman tree, so you should be used to that already. Like all these classes, Q/R, S/R and H/R, your reaction time is the great equalizer. I think cars in the H/R class can use throttle stops if they want to slow the cars down, but in your case, you're right where you need to be time wise. Just cut a good light and drive the stripe. It's like bracket racing and if you go under the 10.90, you're out if you win and the other car is 10.90 or slower. The only thing about running the Pro Am events is the cost of racing and the long waits between classes. I'm not sure what the purse is, but you're running against the best in the business at the Pro Am races. We tried it the first year we had the Cobalt and the other racers in the T/S class we raced it had telepathic reaction times. So it's not a class you enter and have expectations of winning in your first year. LOTS of good racers out there, but that's what makes you a better racer when you run the best out there. |
