Vergotz at PRP July 23rd

John and Brian Vergotz had a huge manifold explosion yesterday at PRP. The explosion blew a fuel line loose and that didn't help matters. With nitrous it's a very short walk between the penthouse and the outhouse.

Wow, hope no one got hurt in that one. Looks like he just missed the perfect tuneup by 1/4lb too low on the fuel pressure. Lean nitrous explosions are violent, ya think a terrorist crawled under the hood.

Hope it ain,t as bad as it looks.

John's had some tough luck the last few seasons. I'm sure he'll make another comeback, just hope everyone's alright after that mishap.

Yes, John is ok, but bummed. I think John is the person most responsible for keeping the US economy going. He's been pouring money into this car since the fiasco at Norwalk last season. They finally did get their 3 second run last month at Milan. They're hoping to be ready for this Saturday's Asphalt Wars at Thompson.
