Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to Mike Baker and His Family

As Some of you know Club member Mike Baker was in accident at Thompson Dragway The last we herd was two broken vertebrae's but he can wiggle his toes.

That was a beutiful car,prayers sent.

Glad to see it wasn't worse than it could have been. From the pics I've seen of the car after the fact, he's a very lucky man. His chassis man should be congratulated for keeping him as safe as he did. My continued prayers for his healing to continue are sent.

Puppy and I have a friend at Thompson that lives 5 mins. from the cleveland hospital and he called me today to tell me that he went and saw Mike and met Mikes entire family he said Mike was doing very well and the biggest concern was his back so hopefully he will recover completely.Anthony said he will get Mike a card and check on him every day until he is out of the hosp. Thankyou Anthony.

Terrible that had to happen, hope Mike gets feeling better soon. This is why I drag race my Camaro an not an ole classic, its not as big of a loss if its wrecked as cars like Mikes Chevelle. Again I'm glad Mike wasn't seriously hurt an will still be around to build a car another day.

Thought about Mike a lot on my long ride home from Thompson last night . hope that mike will make a full recovery and that we see him at our next meeting .

Sorry to hear about this accident. Glad that Mike is okay, and hope that he recovers quickly. The car can be replaced, I just hope Mike recovers without too much trouble. We'll be thinking about him.

Just got an update on Mike, " The driver is still in intensive care. Broken back (2 places) broken sternum & ribs, concusion, bruised lungs. He has use of all limbs. Pretty banged up but he will recover. I don't think he has any serious burns. Please keep him in your prayers. His son broke his neck six weeks ago in a bad auto acident. "

I got word today that Mike was moved from cleveland to erie and is doing good thanks again to Anthony

I also talked to Denny D. yesterday and he is having a rough time with his health I told him if he needed anything don,t hesitate to call and we were thinking about him.

Wow! Sorry to hear that Denny is having issues as well. Both are in my prayers.

Guys, I feel kinda outta the loop on this. Who is Denny D. and is there anything I can do to help ?

I'm not sure Andamo. I didn't know Denny D was having healt problems till a little while ago.

Denny D. is the member with the Flamed red 69 camaro and red 66 chevelle two beautiful cars, he is taking chemo treatments and is feeling tired there,s not much to do unless he needs something so I told him to let us know and I,m sure he will.When it comes to talking he can hang with me easy lol

I got word today that Mike Baker is home and doing well. What great news!!!
